So here’s the thing. I was in a bookstore browsing around looking for nothing in particular. I was standing in between two bookshelves when this little princess about 6-7 year old pushed me to get through. Now on normal occassion, I wouldn’t even bother cos after all, you know kids; they pushed a little and shoved a little, it’s fine you know. But this little fat, monstrous, brat princess turned around and stared at me. YES. She STARED at me. Her eyes were so huge. And then came the shocker for the day – She went tsk, tsk , tsk at ME. At MOI? So I was like, Hello………? You just went tsk, tsk, tsk at ME. That’s some attitude young lady!
So what did I do? I stared at her. I know what you’re thinking. Goodness, she’s just a little girl. No! She’s a monster!
And I said to her through my gritted teeth -
“You just pushed me. And you still dare to tsk, tsk, tsk at me. You need to mind your manners you know!”
She STARED at me. Eyes getting bigger and not blinking. I stared back. (Yes, imagine western film- cowboys preparing to draw their guns)
I said to her again-
“You are quite rude. So small and so young and having such a manner!”
And yes! I brought down the monster. She turned around and walked away. But like one metre away, she tugged at somebody and stared at me again. Oh yes, go to your mummy. Go on then, tell your mummy. You little brat!
Now at this point, I thought to myself. Be that western hero and faced the next enemy or should I just walk away. You see, the mummy is like twice my size and much taller….. Oh yes. And she was also busy talking to somebody to notice her little princess who was still staring at me.
I gave her one final stare and slowly made my exit. HA. HA. HA……….
Hey, I know you think I’m horrible. But don’t you think she was a bit too much. If she had just pushed and not even said sorry, I wouldn’t have mind. She stared and went tsk, tsk, tsk.
What would you have done?
