I have not been taking much photographs of the kids lately. Kept telling myself to take some every month. Catch them doing whatever they enjoy. And finally, I did.
Here’s them at their favourite haunt – Fort Canning Park. Just the place to be free and run wild.

Dream Pets….

The kids had always wanted a pet. We’ve kept fishes before until they all died. We used to have a gerbil while we were in UK but we’ve got to leave him behind. Poor James! But the last we heard he’s happy with his new family.
Now, my kids would die for a cat or a [...]

My daughter loves art. She loves anything to do with painting, colouring, cutting, pasting, moulding, well you name it. As long as it is art, she is game for it. So I decided to sign her up for a batik painting workshop at the local community club.
I asked the man at the counter -”Is this [...]

We took the kids down to the National Library for the ArtsFest. There was a performance by the drama group from the Anglo Chinese Junior College. They were doing a production of the Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. I was blown away. These kids are so talented and full of confidence. It was amazing talent to behold. I [...]

The four of us headed down to the Paya Lebar Air Base for the National Runway Cycling and Skating 2008 at 6.30 in the morning. It was fantastic seeing the crowds coming in with their bicycles and roller blades and the sun rising beautifully just after the early morning showers.
It was my first time ever [...]

The slightly overcast sky at the Ang Mo Kio park added to the sombre mood as the kids took turn to commit themselves by reciting the Scout Law. And nothing could describe the pride [...]

The thing about my daughter is that she can be very strong willed, stubborn at times and irritating most of the time. Yet she is kind, bubbly, funny and determined a person. When she sets her mind to doing something she likes you will see wonderful results. Like this book she [...]

My two kids brought home these free oversized T-shirts which they had gotten from an exihibition together with lots of other freebies. Before I could even say that they were too big for them, my daughter puts it on and goes- Hey, we could use them as pyjamas. And I thought, why not? Looks comfy [...]

She just could not resist getting her arm painted. This was at the new Borders at Parkway Parade. She had chosen these flowers to match her top. And by night time, we had a hard time convincing her to wash it away. So we told her that we’ll take lots of photos so she could remember [...]

You wouldn’t believe if I tell you he’s on an SBS bus, would you? Well, Nokia is having some kind of promotion and they’ve turned the whole bus into some kind of a hotel lounge. No kidding.
And the driver was so sweet and friendly. He was smiling and greeting everyone boarding the bus. How COOOOOOL [...]
